Lipstick Memories.

Mum and I have a very clever friend called Joni. Now Joni over the years has done some really cool things as an entrepreneur, but her latest and greatest creation is a Makeup brand named ROVIE. ROVIE is a locally made natural makeup brand thats great for the skin, and just very lovely in general. It obviously has no animal testing and they support ethical buying; so its great and I love it ra di ra di da.

But recently Joni approached me and told me about a thought she had - This thought involved creating a lipstick that embodies my late mum and would be named 'Sarah'. This sounds cool already right? Well it is, but thats not all. Joni said that she planned to have $5 from each purchase will go to the Breast Cancer Awareness NZ Foundation. How awesome is that?
So of course I told her it was a great idea, and in the mail last week I received my 'Sarah" Lipstick, and thought I had better share it with you.

Now of course I am slightly biased when it comes to this product, but I genuinely love it! If you know me at all you know I love lipsticks, and even with my collection of around 50, I have still found myself grabbing for it over the last few days.

So I opened it up and smiled when I saw this wee note, that will also come with each purchase.

It reads:

"This is ROVIE's lipstick SARAH.
It was created for my gorgeous friend Sarah who at the time was battling with cancer and couldn't wear anything that wasn't natural on her lips as they were very dry from treatments.
Sarah has since become an angel watching over us.

This Lipstick embodies Sarah fully, It's bright with a hint of gold, and smells like Parisian rose (because  it smells and sounds fancy) and of course has sunscreen in it to protect your lips.

$5 of each will go to Breast cancer awareness NZ.

Made with love, by Joni"

I think the note is perfect. Mum always wore beautiful bright lipstick and was known well for it, therefore I couldn't imagine something so perfect to be in memory of her.

As October is awareness month, the Lipstick will be selling online from the 1st. I am so excited.

As you can see its kind of a mix between red and orange, and ahh it really is very pretty. It goes on so smoothly and applies like a dream.

I can not thank Joni enough for this as it really is something very special, and I really hope that if you buy it, you too will also love it as much as me.

So have a wee looksie from the first and enjoy.

Thank you Joni, you are truly a gem!

Lots of love, Lucia xxxx
