It's a Lush Christmas!

Hello Internet Lovelies. Halloween is now over, which means.... I can now be as excited as I want to be for Christmas, without copping any flack!
I recently received majority of the Lush Christmas range and I am so very excited. Currently my room smells like Lush and it is delicious.
If you don't know what Lush is, its store that sells beautiful, bath, hair and body products. I will quote their lovely "we believe" statement as I think it perfectly sums up the company.

"We believe in making effective products from fresh organic fruit and vegetables, the finest essential oils and safe synthetics. We believe in buying ingredients only from companies that do NOT conduct or commission tests on animals and in testing our products on humans. We invent our own products and fragrances, we make them fresh by hand, using little or no preservative or packaging, using only vegetarian ingredients and tell you when they were made. We believe in happy people making happy soap, putting our faces on our products and making our mums proud. We believe in long candlelit baths, sharing showers, massage, filling the world with perfume ad the right to make mistakes, lose everything and start again. We believe our products are good value, that we should make a profit and that the customer is always right."

Basically the company is awesome, the products are to die for and I am obsessed.
As you can see the box I got is chocka full, so I decided to take some pretty photos and share these delightful products with you.

By FAR my favourite range and scent. The snow fairy scent is candyfloss and delicious beyond words; although not so good to eat, trust me I've tried.
Left to right: Snow Fairy Shower gel, Candy Mountain Bubble bar, Fairy Dust shimmer and Father Christmas Bath Bomb.
I have tried all of these products and they are all amazing, Snow Fairy is my holy grail and I use it religiously. I also like to add some fairy dust as it acts as a beautiful shimmer and perfume. The Candy mountain bubble bar produces fun bubbles, as well as delivering a yummy vanilla scent. Finally the bath bomb is so moisturizing and leaves you smelling like candyfloss.

Left to right: Snowman, Magic of Christmas, Santa and Snakes and Ladders.

Here we have FUN!! FUN was released in 2012 with the aim to make washing fun for the whole family. It also has a great message behind it as the idea originated after a trip to Japan following the Fukushima nuclear disaster. "There were no safe areas outside for the children to have fun in, so some money from each sale of FUN goes to help these children." Since then FUND has come about and money goes to all sorts of places where children are living in challenging environments.
You can get FUN in all sorts of colours; it acts as a bubble bar, soap, shampoo and PLAY. I have used fun all of these ways and really like it. I was hesitant at first but actually found that it cleaned by hair really well without going dry, and produces bubbles in the bath that are really, well bubbly!
The Christmas range of fun is so amazing though, So far I have only used the magic of Christmas, but cant wait to create a santa and a snowman with the others. I want to mix snakes and ladders to create some really cool bubble bars. (I will update you)

Looking at this picture I just want to have a Christmas filled bath. Here we have Golden Wonder Bath Bomb, 5 Gold Rings bubble bar, Yog Nog and Snowcake soap and Snow Angel luxury bath melt. This is probably the perfect bath for me. The golden wonder bath bomb has a champagne and citrus scent, The 5 gold rings bubble bar will transform your bath into sparkling, delicious vanilla scented water. My rings broke, but that's okay because each ring will get you a bath. The Yog Nog soap is my favourite soap of the collection; it smells like toffee and is the perfect holiday scent. It has a spicy side and is so moisturizing. So far I have some on my basin and in my shower. The Snowcake soap is like the almond marzipan icing on a Christmas cake, so makes you feel so festive, It also is covered in golden shimmer. Finally you can pop the Snow Angel bath melt in the bath to transform your water into a pillow of softness with the cocoa butter. YUM!

I basically just put these ones together because they look pretty. First Snow is on the left followed by Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb and Star Dust Bath Bomb. First snow is another dusting powder like Fairy Dust and it makes your skin look like its has been "kissed by snowflakes". Shoot for the Stars smells a bit like toffee and is a lovely sweet bomb - I am really looking forward to using this as I can imagine it will make the bath look incredible! Stardust is another that I can't wait to try as I bet it will be really pretty. It has a vanilla and rosewood scent.

Here we have a very Christmasy array of beauties. Left is Christingle, which is a body conditioner. I originally thought this was just a moisturizer so was using it as one, until I actually read the instructions and learnt that you use it in the shower. Basically you just smother it on like you would a hair conditioner and then rinse it off. The thing I love the most about Christingle though is the scent. I honestly can't describe how amazing it is. It is menthol and peppermint and is just so refreshing and yummy; it reminds me of candy-canes so I find it to be the perfect festive scent. Holly Go Lightly is next and I am also looking forward to using this. It is a bubble bar that is very festive and pretty, with silver glitter and a very fresh scent. I learnt the other day that Lush glitter is actually made from seaweed and includes zero plastic. How cool is that!
Last but not least is Dashing Santa. Santa dashes through the bath and fills it with a citrusy scent, I also am excited to use this.

Here we have some soaps. Yog Nog and Snowcake as mentioned before and Baked Alaska and Reindeer rock. I love all of the soaps, Baked Alaska is a really citrusy scent, it kind of smells like lemonade and summer and I really like it, Its also a good one for the men who arent overally fussed on really sweet scents. Reindeer Rock has a berry scent and is just yummy.

Another beautiful array of goodies here, Salt and peppermint bark is at the back. It is basically candy-cane in block form and I really wish you could eat it. You use it as a scrub to buff away old skin and give it a lovely tingly feeling. Cinders is another bath bomb and reminds you of a crackling fire when placed in the bath due to popping candy. It has a cinnamon scent and I am very in love.

These two products are the perfect pair for a sensational candy-cane sweet shower treat.

Here is Santa's Lip Scrub. Basically you put some on your lips, scrub it around and lick the remaining off. It gets rid of dry, cracked skin and is perfect for using before a nice lip balm. I really want to get the red lip tint called Santa baby as well. The scrub is cola flavoured so very tasty.

"These are a few of my favourite things....." These three products are fantastic in the shower and I constantly have an internal struggle with what one I want to grab. Starting with Santa's belly, it is a shower jelly that really is like jelly. Its apple scented and honestly is so bloody incredible. It genuinely smells like sweet apples and is so refreshing for the skin. It also has pretty glitter stars in it which just increases my love for it by about 100%. Next is Snowman, I haven't used this wee fella yet as I really don't want to destroy him (picture below) he folds up into the pottle and is super wobbly. He has a fruity scent and also has some shimmer in him. You can also freeze him and rub over your skin on hot days for a refreshing cool down.
Now I am not a floral scent person, I have never really enjoyed sniffing flower perfume or the likes, but Rose Jam is actually really special to me as it reminds me of mum. This shower Gel smells exactly like roses and for some reason whenever I sniff it mum comes to mind. Because of this it probably has to be another favourite - and one I know I will be stocking up on for years to come.

Here is little snowman. Isn't he cute!!

These too are very different bath bombs but both delightful. On the let is Luxury Lush Pud which has the same scent as Lush's Twilight bath bomb. It has a subtle lavender scent and looks spectacular in the bath! Next is So White. I'm guessing it is a take on Snow White as it has a crisp apple scent, the same as Santa's belly. I had this the other night and wow its so gorgeous! It makes the bath a pretty pink, and leaves the bathroom smelling like apples for the next few days.

Just my faves. So so in love with the Snow Fairy scent. We now have 1kg bottles in store. Sign me up please!!

So here is the blissful magic wand. Magic Wand is... you guessed it... Snow Fairy Scent. Look how pretty it is though! You swirl it around in the bath to get sweet sweet bubbles. This wand should get you around 8 baths which is awesome. I am planning on using it tonight as I think I need a bit of sweetness!

Finally here are three complete sweeties. On the left is Yog Nog Bath Bomb which matches the scent of the Yog Nog soap pictured on the right. So yes, it's toffee and good enough to eat! In the middle is sweet little Butterbear. Butterbear is a classic for Christmas. He is basically the popular "butterball" in bear form; so made out of cocoa butter goodness. Since Butterbear is so deliciously cute, Lush also have Butterbear knot wraps and tote bags, which are super cool!

So there we have it Internet Lovelies.. My Lush Christmas Haul. I cannot wait to try them and hopefully make a favourites video for YouTube. There are a few extra pieces of the Christmas range that I am yet to purchase, so if you liked this post make sure to let me know, so I know to make another one.
Also please let me know if you have tried any of these products, or any other Lush products for that matter.. Or let me know which ones I have now convinced you to purchase!
Okay off to bathe in yummy goodness...

Until next time,
Lots of love, Lu xxxxx
