Hello again Internet lovelies. I am sorry for the wait between posts recently, but life is extremely busy at the moment. I hope you are all well and enjoying life!
Recently was my little sisters 7th birthday, which like I mentioned earlier is rather scary as it only seems like yesterday that she came into this world, head first and landing on the floor of the car. (maybe I can tell that story another time.) Anyway yesterday we had her party so I thought I would share some photos with you all because it really was fun!
My mum is the best at throwing parties. I used to have the coolest birthdays when I was little, she continuously went all out to create a great day for me and my friends. She is also the master of all masters at cake decorating. I can't even begin to describe how awesome her cakes are. I remember double headed snakes, trains, barbies, cup cake tiers and so many others. This year was no exception, my little sister Lillian had a blast with all of her friends, so enjoy the photos.
Loot bag gifts.
We had the party in our backyard, so were very lucky that the sun decided to show its face.
BBQ master in his kitchen. 1 Sausage please Sir.
Pin the tail on the donkey really took me back to my childhood.
Living on the beach definitely has its pros - especially when you have 8 kids to amuse for 2 hours.
Lolly scramble timeeeeeee. This is always fun. It made me laugh though - While all of the kids were grabbing all they could, Lillian was carefully selecting which ones she wanted. What a nutter.
Told you she was clever! Mums beautiful cake was a hit. Always the best part of the party right?
Two layers. Chocolate and Vanilla with butter icing. Yes please!!
Make a wish lil. 7 candles, for 7 years. Ahhhhh.
Lil had a great time and so did all of us.
Dads expression after having 8 kids running around like headless chickens. At least it won't happen again for another year father, don't worry that pretty little face.
7 years go so fast, I can't quite believe how time flies. Things are happening in life and it can be a little scary, but it has definitely reminded me to make the most of every moment.
Until next time (which will hopefully be very soon)
Lucia xxxx
